Desi and I met in our college’s theater program back in 2005 and our friendship deepened into something truly special over those four years. We both moved to New York City to pursue careers in the arts, and she’s been a constant source of support, love, kindness, and laughter for me ever since.
My deepest wish for everyone is for them to know this kind of friendship; a deep connection without judgement where you can show up exactly as you are (and laugh a LOT in the process).
